About Me
I am a professional development consultant, transformative facilitator and leadership coach with 30 years of experience inside social movements, nonprofits, faith communities, and mission-driven organizations. I don’t consult as a corporate outsider to your context. I know this purpose-driven, change-focused work from the inside. I’m inspired by what you do.
You and your and teams are doing meaningful work under real pressure. What you need is not a formula. You need a thought partner who understands the world you are operating in, the personal stakes of staying engaged and the real joys that come from making an impact. That is how I accompany you.
My Accompaniment Philosophy
For over a decade I worked as a birth doula, childbirth educator and IBCLC lactation consultant, starting the first free-standing mother-baby center in Nashville, TN. There, I accompanied people through some of the most vulnerable transitions of their lives. That work taught me what it means to be fully present with someone as they move through difficulty. It demanded deep listening, honest reflection, and the discipline to hold space without projecting answers.
That is still the foundation of how I work. Whether I am coaching a leader through burnout, facilitating team connection, or consulting with an organization during transition, I am an accompanier first. The work and decisions are yours. My job is to make it easier.
Who I Work With
With years of experience across the social sector, the people who find me and resonate with my work tend to come from:
Nonprofits and community organizations
Foundations and philanthropy teams
Progressive Faith-rooted and spiritual communities
Social movement organizations and coalitions
Social enterprises and mission-driven businesses
If you are doing work that matters and your team needs investment to sustain it, we are likely a good fit.
How I work:
I have an inclusive lens in everything I do. Everything in the system belongs and must be included. That means equity and inclusion are not add-ons to my work. They are woven into how I facilitate conversations, design programs, and coach leaders. I also bring somatic and embodied practices into my work, drawing on advanced training in somatic parts work, embodied conflict resolution, and Black embodiment practices. For mission-driven organizations navigating stress, trauma, and burnout, this is not a soft extra. It’s often exactly what is needed.
I work with or without the Enneagram depending on what serves you best. My extensive training in the Awareness to Action Enneagram model is available to any client who wants to be supported by an understanding of individual and team personality and behavior patterns and build organizational strength through their people.
I’m not a brand, I’m a person and who I am, including the personal lessons I’ve learned are intertwined with how I work, teach, facilitate and coach. I lead with humanity in my work.
I am committed to the flourishing of the people of the Global Majority, of those historically targeted by colonization, patriarchy, homophobia, xenophobia and all the isms. I believe this is how we all flourish.
I work with and support all who are committed to individual and social transformation, healing and change. I’m not your average coach or facilitator, but if this resonates with you, you’re not average either. Let’s work together.
